The Origin of Parlez-vous Pro

The concept of Parlez-vous Pro arose from a simple observation: moving to the other side of the world, whether for work or study, can present numerous challenges. I noticed that language courses are available in one’s home country before departure, as well as upon arrival at the destination. However, what is often lacking is pedagogical continuity with a trainer who acts as a true intercultural coach, supporting learners both before their departure and after their arrival in the country.

In response to this need, I created Parlez-vous Pro to provide smooth transitions and constant support to those looking to succeed in their professional and cultural integration in France.

The Parlez-vous Pro Team

Pauline Onzon – Founder and Teacher

As the founder of Parlez-vous Pro, I am passionate about teaching and sharing linguistic and intercultural knowledge.  I initially graduated from from Sciences Po Paris in European Affairs, and later in Education Sciences at the University of Lille with a specialization in pedagogical design for adult education. I also trained in teaching French as a Foreign Language (FLE) – earning the Diploma in Teaching French as a Foreign Language (DAEFLE) from the Alliance Française. Consequently, I have acquired a solid academic foundation in the fields of education and training.

My professional and personal experiences, particularly my years spent in Germany and Argentina where I studied and worked, have enabled me to develop an intercultural approach and a deep understanding of the needs of expatriate learners.

As a true globetrotter, I have been fortunate to explore all five continents during enriching journeys. My latest adventure? A four-month trip through Southeast Asia. For the record, my love for foreign languages led me to learn Spanish while living in Berlin, starting with a Spanish grammar book in German.

I love sharing my knowledge and interacting with people from diverse cultures. Originally from Nice, I have returned to the Provence region near my homeland, where I am committed to showcasing the cultural specificities and beauty of this region to people from around the world.

Our Expertise

Our area of expertise includes managing European projects in the training sector and pedagogical design tailored to adult education. We have a thorough understanding of corporate expectations and the requirements of the job market in France, particularly in the South region. Our ability to assist learners in specific tasks such as writing academic texts in French, conducting professional meetings in French, or even navigating business dinners without committing intercultural faux pas, adds significant value to our training offerings.

Through our professional and personal experiences abroad as well as in France through European projects, we have gained a deep understanding of the challenges faced by our expatriate learners. We have worked in diverse intercultural contexts, allowing us to adapt and make learning experiences culturally enriching.

Furthermore, our experience in conducting webinars and teaching French as a Foreign Language (FLE) to diverse audiences (students, professionals, and refugees), both online and in-person, has taught us to meet the specific needs of each learner.
